Tea at The Hazelmere

Tea is our passion.

We were crowned The Tea Guilds Top Tea Place in 2006 and as subsequent annual winners of the Prestigious Award of Excellence we believe the best teas the World has to offer should be served alongside our fabulous homemade food.

Contacts established over years of dedication and numerous trips to tea growing countries such as Japan, India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia have enabled Dorothy Stubley each season to source teas selected for their quality and individuality.

The café offers over 40 different teas, all served loose leaf in fine bone china teapots and cups. Provenance and tasting notes are listed alongside each tea and guest teas are featured especially matched to the season.

Coffee, freshly roasted by Farrers of Kendal, hot and cold drinks and homemade lemonade are also served.
